The Teacher
Heather Hayes has been teaching piano privately for the last ten years. She received her Bachelor of Music in Keyboard Pedagogy from Cedarville University in 2008 and is Nationally Certified as a Teacher of Music in Piano through the Music Teachers National Association. She is also State Certified through the Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA).

Presently, she enjoys being a part of the Gig Harbor Chapter of WSMTA, accompanying services at her local church, and directing a high school jazz band.

Private Lessons
Private piano lessons are available to students aged five and up. Times are available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Weekly lessons consist of thirty or forty-five minutes of individualized, interactive instruction. Lessons are conducted at the instructor’s home in Port Orchard on Tuesday and Wednesday, and at Harborvoice studio in Gig Harbor on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Daily practice is expected of all students to foster the music skills learned at the private lesson.
